Go-live guide
Remix Mira Holloway, make it yours, then publish it on your own domain.
1. Remix it
Remixing makes your own free copy in your Framer account.
It copies every page, the Work collection and the mats into your own Framer account, free.
2. Make it yours in 4 steps
Most illustrators finish this in an afternoon.
Step 1
Swap in your work
Open the CMS and edit the Work collection. Upload each piece to Image at full size: the template never crops it. Set Shape to Wide for spreads and banners. Turn on Lead piece for up to six pieces and number them with Lead order; they become the chips on the home page. Use Order to sort the rest. Turn on Print available and fill in Print details for anything you sell as a print: they fill the Prints page and the prints row on the home page.
Step 2
Set your status, prices and usage
Edit the Status component once and the status changes in the navigation and the footer on every page. Then update the offer cards on the home and commissions pages, and the usage lines on the commissions page.
Step 3
Point the commission form at your inbox
On the Commissions page, select the form, open Send to and choose your email. Send yourself a test brief and check it arrives.
Step 4
Add your name and links
Change Mira Holloway in the header and footer and write your About page. Update Instagram and Behance in the footer, and your email in the footer, on About and on Privacy. Then set your site title, description, social image and favicon in Site Settings, General, and each page’s title in its page settings.
3. How the mats work
How the coloured backgrounds work.
From the art
Each piece gets a background colour picked from its own palette when the page loads, so your colours always match your work.
Choose a colour yourself
Set Mat colour on a piece in the CMS to pick its background by hand.
Plain paper instead
Set Mat colour to Paper on each Mat: inside the Work Card and Offer Card components, and on the home hero and chips, the project header, About and the 404 page. Paper overrides any colour set in the CMS.
4. Go live on your own domain
A custom domain needs a paid Framer site plan.
Mira Holloway works on the Basic plan
It uses 9 pages and 1 CMS collection (Work), inside Basic’s 30 pages and 2 collections. Checked on framer.com/pricing on 18 October 2026.
Connect your domain
In Site Settings, open Domains, add your domain and follow Framer’s steps for your domain provider. Then publish.
5. Before you publish
A short check before you share the link.
Replace every sample piece and its credit line
The sample images are public-domain prints from the Art Institute of Chicago. Delete them, and their credit lines, once your own work is in.
Replace the sample clients and quotes
They belong to the sample illustrator. Use your own, or remove the section.
Point the print button at your shop
If you sell prints on Shopify, Big Cartel or Etsy, change the button link on the Prints page. Otherwise it opens the commission form.
Last checks, then remove this guide
Send yourself a test brief, make sure the privacy page names you, then delete this Go-live guide page and its link in the footer.
