The project

The brief

A personal piece from a week of drawing on the coast. No client, just a promise to myself to finish one print from every sketchbook.

How it was made

The waves were drawn first and the figure last, small and leaning into the wind. I pulled proofs in three blues before the sea felt cold enough.

The result

It became my most requested print and the start of a small coastal series.
